Few people realize that over the past 75 years, New York’s Hudson Valley has registered the third highest number of UFO reports in the country, and Felix and Sarah Olivieri of Big Guy Media have produced a compelling feature-length documentary examining how these experiences have impacted generations of eyewitnesses and influenced local communities.
Teaming with local author Linda Zimmermann, In the Night Sky: I Recall a UFO contains interviews with witnesses, skeptics, and believers. They visited many actual Hudson Valley UFO hotspots, attended a festival devoted to the ET phenomenon, hiked to mysterious stone structures that may be focal points of activity, and even took to the sky in ultralight aircraft to test the “official” explanation for many of the sightings.
In the Night Sky: I Recall a UFO presents a fresh and intriguing view of startling encounters that have left lasting impressions on many residents of the Hudson Valley.
Over 2,000 people attended the 2013 International UFO Congress and EBE Film Festival in Arizona, and at the Awards Banquet on March 2, the enthusiastic crowd cast their ballots for their favorite film from the eight finalists. “In the Night Sky: I Recall a UFO” won the People’s Choice Award in what the festival producers described as “a landslide vote.” Director Felix Olivieri was there to accept the “Alien Oscar,” and he thanked the audience, as well as everyone in the Hudson Valley for sharing their amazing stories.
